The Demon Wolf's Garden is an A-Rank Haunt and the resting place of the S-Rank wolf Fenrir. The pedestal at the center is the location where Teacher woke up. The Demon Wolf's Plains is located near Alessa.
The center still lingers with Fenrir's influence, creating a phenomenon where the closer you are to the center, the weaker monsters are, and the opposite holds true until the Withering Forest.[1] In the middle lay overgrown ruins, which researchers and scholars are still investigating.[1]
Monsters are contained within due to the Withering Forest, which drains Mana from any creatures in its grounds.[1][2]
Every couple of years, the stronger monsters in the Demon Wolf's Garden fight for territory. In effect, weaker monsters in adjacent areas are scared into aggression and flee. This endangers the highway, which is how Teacher and Fran meet Randell.[1]
Areas[]
Teacher has classified the plains into five levels, with Area 5 being where the strongest monsters are and Area 1 being where the weakest monsters are.[3] Alternatively, the levels can be called Ranks. He woke up at the weakest place, Area 1.
Area 1[]
Weak Goblins and other monsters populate the area.
Monsters[]
- Regular Monsters: Goblins, Six-Legged Rats, Giant Centipedes, Poison Fang Rats, Carrion Vultures, Air Floaters, Orcs, Gourmet Orcs.
- Area Bosses: Sabertooth Tiger, Slimelord, Doppel Snake, and Blast Tortoise.
Plot[]
Light novel volume 1, chapter 1; Web novel chapter 1 to chapter 15[]
The Demon Wolf's Garden is the location where Teacher had first appeared. With all the monsters, he used it as a way to level up. It almost seemed tailor-made for him with how monsters were weaker the closer to the pedestal.
Adaptation notes[]
- Light Novel: In the surrounding scenery where Teacher wakes up, there is also overgrown ruins described.
